Special Offers on Disney Cruise Line Sailings as of February 10, 2020

After weeks of decreasing options, the number of special offers from Disney Cruise Line rebounded this week. The Military rate jumped with to 23 sailings with 10 new dates, the Florida Resident rate added 5 new dates to bring the number of sailings up to 12. However, the Canadian resident rate held steady again this week with essentially the same offerings as previous weeks.

We are quickly approaching some key dates as we move into mid-February. This is the final week for two of Disney Cruise Line’s ongoing promotions.

The first ended on Sunday for our friends across the Atlantic Ocean, there is a cruise and stay offer for residents of the United Kingdom and European Union. When you book a cruise and stay offer you are eligible for 10% off your cruise. The 10% off is valid for travel between January 13th and September 30th and available to book until February 16, 2020.

The second promotion has just a few days remaining, Disney’s annual Half off deposit promotion for new bookings on cruise 4-nights and longer ends on Valentine’s Day, Friday, February 14th. Last year, the Summer itineraries were released shortly after this promotion ended. Based on the historical itinerary release schedule, we could see Summer 2021 sailings announced anytime after the promotion ends and as late as mid-March. I recently updated the itinerary release page with a summary of the release dates for each period, early, summer, and fall to better approximate future announcement.s

The final special offer this week, available to everyone, for up to 20% off the prevailing rate for a single Pacific Coast sailing aboard the Disney Wonder from San Diego. The specific sailings as of today is listed below.

Last but not least, DCL Blog Cruise 2 is setting sailing in 10 days… The same day we’ve heard the Summer 2021 sailings will be announced. I really hope this intel is wrong otherwise, I will be processing all the new sailings from the Florida Turnpike. Active and retired members (or spouse) of the U.S. military must provide valid identification at time of check-in. Activated members (or spouse) of the U.S. National Guard or the U.S. Army Reserve must also show active duty orders (active duty papers must be dated as of January 1st of the previous year to qualify).

To take advantage of the Florida resident rate, at least one adult on the reservation must provide proof of Florida residency within 48 hours of booking. Proof of residency must be valid at the time of sailing, and includes the following: Florida Driver’s License, Florida Identification Card, Florida utility bill with Guest’s name and address, Florida voter’s registration card, or Renter’s lease agreement. Note: a property deed is not considered acceptable proof of residency. Failure to submit complete identification will result in a cancellation, with applicable cancellation fees. Canadian Resident Rates

Special Rates for Canadian Residents have returned. Canadian residents can save 25% off prevailing rates as quoted on Disneycruise.com for non-concierge Verandah, Oceanview, and Inside Staterooms on select cruises. Pricing varies, the lowest priced category per person per night listed below. New sailings added this week are in bold.  Proof of residency is required an you must mention the special offer code CAN when booking. NOTE: Offers may be applied to existing bookings if requested when calling in. This offer cannot be combined with any other special offer or discounts, or onboard credits.
