Disney Magic Potentially Returning to the Greek Isle in Summer 2021

We are quickly approaching that time of year when Disney Cruise Line announces their Summer itineraries. Based on historical releases, we are expecting a release of the Summer 2021 sailings as early as next month. Today, we discovered, thanks to a heads up by the DCL Podcast, the Disney Magic is possibly be making 2020 and 2021 back-to-back seasons with Greek Isle itineraries.

The Disney Magic is listed on the 2021 Piraeus (Athens) port schedule on the four separate dates listed below:

  • June 15, 2021
  • June 23, 2021
  • July 2, 2021
  • July 11, 2021

If the the Piraeus port calendar proves to be accurate, there will be good news for anyone looking to sail to the Greek Isles on the Disney Magic, you will have a decent chance of securing a much lower opening day cruise fare compared to the current going rate for the staterooms remaining for the 2020 sailings.

If the timing proves to be accurate, this would be interesting. Big gap between stop #2 and #3 so potentially a longer cruise in between or some switch in port of departures (Barcelona vs Rome?). Very short gap between #3 and #4. Could they make it to Rome and back?
