The recently announced Summer 2020 Disney Cruise Line sailings went on sale today for Platinum Castaway Club members as well as residents of Disney’s Golden Oak. The good news is we have opening day pricing available. The bad news is this information is not available to Gold & Silver Castaway Club Members, and first-time cruisers.
Below, I’ve collected the opening day pricing based on 2 adults for all of the Summer 2020 cruises to give you a general idea on where the cruises are priced. I realize this does not take into account onboard booking, or a more detailed quote for your sailing party. For a more detailed look at quotes, I would suggest the opening day pricing thread over at disboards.com.
The idea for this post was simply to get baseline pricing for each cruise and I felt 2 adults provided the baseline for double occupancy to help everyone plan for Gold, Silver, and first-time cruisers booking windows. The pricing is group by ship and itinerary for more of an apples to apple comparison.
One last note, the pricing below is representative of a snapshot in time on opening day. As cruises book, prices will increase and stateroom availability will dwindle. The pricing below includes taxes, fees & port expenses for 2 adults.

Now that you have had a chance to see opening day pricing for Disney Cruise Line’s Summer 2020 sailings, what do you think?
Wow, that must have been A LOT of work but it is really useful, thank you!
Thanks for letting me know this was useful!
This is probably one of the most useful pages I have seen from anyone regarding planning future Disney trips. Well done.
Amazing, I agree with Mr. Bell fantastic post. Being Gold I have to wait until tomorrow so this gives me a heads up. Great job Scott, you are so appreciated! I sincerely wish Scott would plan P/C Itinerary’s for DCL he would do a better job then Disney! Bring back the 11 night Southern!! Very curious scaled back longer cruises, is it so they don’t have to spend the money on the Castaway Club meet & greet, for the Gold & Platinum members?
Thanks Denise. I’d love to plan an itinerary or two, that sounds like it could be fun. I think the 11-night sailing may have pushed the limit on what people were willing to spend for a Caribbean cruise at Fantasy pricing. The 2018 sailing opened up for Florida resident rates in March and remained available up until the cruise sailed. On top of the special offer, I believe the cruise was opened up for Cast Members.
Thanks Mark!
This is awesome! Thank you so much for compiling all of this information in an easy to read format!
Kristin,
Thank you for letting me know this was helpful.
Thank you so much!
You are welcome.
Unbelievable job, Scott. Thanks so much
Thanks for the feedback!
Is this the price per person based on double occupancy or is the total price for 2 adults?
This is the total for 2 adults.
Excellent work. Thank you for the effort. Very helpful
Great to see in a table formate, thanks. Glad we’re going to Iceland and Norway this year, would have missed it. Only 137 days to go!
Scott this is great. I am headed on the fantasy in 12 days and wondering if historically prices go up so quickly that I should book now or wait until I get onboard to take advantage of discount, etc that comes with booking onboard. Thoughts?
Siren
Prices can jump in a few hours during the opening week. However, it really comes down to the popularity of the sailing.
if I was you Siren, I would wait and take advantage of the on board credits. 10% off original price, plus $200 on board credit. Or you can do both and later cancel the one that is higher. You will get your money back on either. That is what I did.
This is perfect! Thanks so much for doing this, and now I am just counting down the days until I can book our Alaska cruise for later summer 2020!
This is amazing! Thank you. The two cruises that I’m looking at for next year haven’t shown up on the disboards yet, so I am happy to see them here. Now we’ll see if my TA can get the stateroom I want tomorrow.
Thanks for your effort – so helpful! You are the best!
Great job. Stange that for the Magic, the return transtlantic is not scheduled… Dry dock ?
I just booked this morning and like you said yesterday, it was open for online bookings before 8am est. website didn’t crash or seem slow. so much easier than calling in…
I am Platinum, and obviously had access to the pricing yesterday, and STILL find this super useful!!! Thank you for all that hard work!!!
Whoa! Thank you so much! I’m trying to book my second cruise with a placeholder and this is super duper helpful. I know it was a ton of work, but wow! Thank you!
Thanks for this info. I’ve been working an a “Fare Guru” that captures, logs and outputs fares for all sailing and classes, as well as room-by-room stateroom availability logged hourly. It will output base fares (like above) in a table format with advanced filtering options…..when it’s done at least. Right now, still sorting and filtering is fairly basic.
I thought I had found a way to get Platinum pricing when it came out yesterday, and while it was able to import all the new sailings, I could not get availability data. Just have to wait one more day…
Anyway…Seeing all the feedback here tells me that I’m not the only person who craves this sort of data.
In case anyone wants to see pricing for all fares at once in PDF form: https://drive.google.com/open?id=19nGu7-5XLt3iXD9gU9PMZIBv75uTJKF7
It’s for double occupancy only, showing the lowest available fare (or “starting price”) for each category as of this afternoon.
Summer 2020 sailings start around page 31
Being a Gold cruiser, I went on first thing this morning to book the 9nt Caribbean. The price went from $7,443 for an inside room yesterday for Platinum to $12, 292 today for Gold. COME ON DISNEY. I’m all for price increases with sales of rooms but that’s INSULTING.
Ok, I need to correct myself – the number of passengers auto defaulted to 4 passengers for the price increase. It only went up a little over $100 for 2 adults. As a general observation though, these cruise prices are increasing at a rate that may price us out soon.
Thanks for your attention to the details – I can’t wait to be Platinum! I booked today (Gold) and the cruise had gone up quite a bit!
Awesome compilation – and kudos for pointing to the DIS for more options…
Thank-you so much for compiling this information — it is so helpful to those of us that have to wait to book. Seeing all of the alternatives laid out really helps to make a comparison easy and then decide what to book as Silver today. It must have been a lot of work — but I hope you will consider doing it on every release day. Thanks again.
I keep an eye on various European cruises on the Magic.
And 6 months after the great work of Scott, I wanted to check what happen to the prices.
The biggest increases are mostly about the Concierge staterooms (granted, sometimes it’s because staterooms sold out and there is only Suites left) followed by Verandah.
And some changes are differents depending the stateroom catergory.
The biggest surprise is that some prices goes down !
Especialt the odd 5 nights on September 13th drop quite a bit : you can save $500 for an Inside or Ocean view ! Verandah cost $1000 more and Concierge barely change.
This is amazing! Such a great resource for me as I am trying to gauge pricing. Thank you for spending the time to gather all of this information!
