The Port of Quebec recently announced a welcoming event for the Disney Magic inviting locals to celebrate the inaugural call. The festivities are scheduled to include a fairytale firework display. On September 26th starting at 6PM, Disney fans of all ages are invited to dress up as their favorite Disney character and come enjoy entertainment and music near the cruise ship. The evening will culminate in fireworks presented by Créations Pyro, a sponsor of Les Grands Feux Loto-Québec. The pyromusical show will light up the sky above Cap Diamant and the Plains of Abraham, near the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac.

The Disney Magic is scheduled to arrive in Quebec City, Quebec on September 26th in the 7 o’clock hour with guests ashore around 8:30 AM. The Magic is spending the night in Quebec then on Thursday, September 27th she will embark on a 7-night Canadian cruise back to New York.

At this time, Disney Cruise Line does not have any future itineraries scheduled to Quebec City, Quebec.

Festivities and fireworks to celebrate a much-anticipated visit

Québec City, August 22, 2018 – The Port of Québec’s cruise season will soon hit a high point with the inaugural visit of the Disney Magic, which will be calling from September 26 to 28. The Port and the City of Québec are rolling out the red carpet and inviting residents to join them in giving the Disney Magic a rousing welcome on its first official visit to Québec City.

Fairytale fireworks for a happily every after!
Place des Canotiers will be transformed into a place where dreams come true for this inaugural visit. On September 26th from 6 p.m. onwards, Disney fans of all ages are invited to dress up as their favorite Disney character and come enjoy entertainment and music near the cruise ship.
