We have exciting news to share! Summer 2019, we will be embarking on the first ever DCL Blog Cruise and you are invited to join the adventure. The cruise will depart from Port Canaveral aboard the Disney Dream on June 19, 2019 for a 4-night Bahamian Cruise with not one, but TWO stops at Disney’s Castaway Cay! The DCL Blog Cruise will feature exclusive events with myself, Emily & Isabelle, onboard and during two amazing Castaway Cay days!  As space is limited, Book Now to ensure you do not miss out on the inaugural DCL Blog Cruise.

Inaugural DCL Blog Cruise 2019 Itinerary Map

  1. Wednesday June 19, 2019 – Port Canaveral
  2. Thursday June 20, 2019 – Castaway Cay
  3. Friday June 21, 2019 – Nassau
  4. Saturday June 22, 2019 – Castaway Cay
Sunday June 23, 2019 – Port Canaveral (Debarkation)

More details will be forthcoming, but events will include a meet and greet reception, evening lounge meet-ups, private drink tastings, fish extender exchange, a group Palo brunch (availability permitting) on Nassau day, and even the opportunity to be featured here on the Disney Cruise Line Blog! All of these events will be exclusive to the DCL Blog Cruisers booked through Storybook Destinations, our travel partner. This is a family friendly group and all age groups welcome at activities that are not considered adult only, and Isabelle will be hosting a special kid’s activity of her own!

Many group activities will be included, however, others will have an additional cost for those who decided to join, such as Palo brunch. Keep your eyes on the DCL Blog as there will be some surprises along the way as well.

For more information, and to secure your stateroom, email DCLBlogCruise@StorybookDestinations.com to get a free, no-obligation quote.

The deadline to register is May 1, 2019, however as normal with Disney Cruise Line, prices will go up and staterooms will sell out, so we recommend securing your spot as soon as possible.

Participants will receive Storybook Destinations standard onboard credits, and anyone that books before July 1, 2018 will get an extra $25!

We’ve also set up a mini site just for the cruise at DCLBlogCruise.com.

We cannot wait to meet everyone onboard!

that’s great scott, love this idea, unfortunately we’re all already sailing 10-17 August 2019… usually a group of about 20-25 of us sail together.. perhaps some day.. that’s really great, love it..

I would absolutely love to do this but my quote was $6400 for category 7A for the 4 of us. I can’t justify spending that much on a 4 night cruise. Instead, I will follow along with the trip reports and will be jealous that I’m not there.

I love this idea! But as someone who sails almost exclusively in the off-season, I have major sticker shock from these prices. Oh, the luxuries of not being tied to a school schedule!

It sounds like it will be an amazing trip, have fun, all!

My husband and I are booked for that one, too!!!! 🙂 We should have an unofficial DCL meet-up for anyone who’s going on this cruise. 🙂

We are booked! We attended the Disney Dish Podcast event at WDW that Storybook Destinations organized. It was so much fun, and I expect no less from this cruise!

Awesome! I had a scheduling conflict with the Disney Dish Podcast event keeping me from the festivities, but I heard it was a blast. What did you enjoy the most?

Just filled out a form for a quote. Our son will be just after his 11th birthday. We have taken 5 Disney cruises but none on the Dream yet!

I’m booked for the double dip on the Dream just before you guys. Sad that we aren’t going to be on the same one.
