Disney Dream Shifts to Monday and Friday Departures from Port Canaveral

Today, marks the day where the Disney Dream shifts to Monday and Friday departures from Port Canaveral. This move allows for the Disney Magic to embark on Sunday Caribbean voyages through early May 2015. The Disney Dream will continue to sail alternating three and four night Bahamian sailings until next Summer. In late June 2015, the Disney Dream will mix in some five night sailings while before resuming Monday and Friday departures from Port Canaveral in early August 2015.

We’ll be on one of these Monday departures in 2 short weeks. We’re doing a weekend stay at the Boardwalk prior to our cruise to make it a full week. We will be there for the kickoff of the Christmas theme change over that Monday.

Any idea when the 2016 DCL itineraries will be released? We’re hoping to book something other than a dummy date when we cruise in a few weeks. We already have plans 2 years out on other lines, and it’s really annoying that Disney waits so much longer to give us options.

That’s funny Scott. We got off the Dream this morning and I overheard the crew saying that they were getting ready for passengers and I thought that was odd. Now it makes sense!

We just got of the Dream this morning and are super excited they are bring the 5 night double dip back in Summer of 2015. Wish they always had it. The 4 night double dip was nice but I miss the one day at sea!
