The Winter 2013 edition of the Disney Cruise Line eCompass is now available for all Castaway Club members. This, the second interactive issue celebrates the current holiday season, highlights the relaunch of the Disney Magic, announces the Halloween on the High Seas Cruises for 2014, and takes a look into the future at the early 2015 itineraries.
To help celebrate the current holiday season Disney included a few downloadables. The first is a set of three digital picture frame borders that you can either digitally add your photos or uses a border in a scrapbooking project.
There is a Holiday eCard inspired by the Mickey Mouse statue in the snorkeling lagoon at Castaway Cay.
The coolest downloadable is a Holiday paper craft that includes Captain Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and a Disney Cruise Line ship among other Christmas decorations and the snowman and snow-woman from Castaway Cay.
The 2014 Very MerryTime Cruises dates have been announced and are as follows:
- Disney Magic: November 23, 2014 – December 28, 2014
- Disney Wonder: November 23, 2014 – December 30, 2014
- Disney Dream: November 24, 2014 – December 29, 2014
- Disney Fantasy: November 22, 2014 – December 27, 2014
The eCompass also announced that the Halloween on the High Seas Cruises would return in 2014 complete with Mickey’s Mouse-querade Party and other Halloween favorites. In fact, the events that debuted this year on the Disney Dream will return and will be expanded to the other ships! The 2014 Halloween on the High Seas sailings are as follows:
- Disney Magic: September 26, 2014 – October 31, 2014
- Disney Wonder: September 24, 2014 – October 26, 2014
- Disney Dream: September 21, 2014 – October 31, 2014
- Disney Fantasy: September 20, 2014 – October 25, 2014
I will not take all the fun out of exploring the interactive eCompass, but I do want to point out the custom port of call maps that you can print out for Key West, Nassau, St Thomas/St John, and Cozumel.
The Castaway Club eCompass can be accessed via a new dedicated website DisneyCastawayCompass.com.
Thanks for the info! I will say that I am annoyed they aren’t starting the “Very Merritime Cruises” until later in November. A big part of my reasoning for picking the dates for our next cruise in November of 2014 was because I wanted holiday decorations and activities.
I’m trying to download those eframes to make a magnet to put on my cabin door when I’m on the cruise Dec 28-jan 4, anyone know how to get a downloadable version of the eframes?
You can download them from http://disneycastawaycompass.com/assets/12-2013_holidays/disneyCruiseLine_holidayEFrames.pdf
We’ll be on the Fantasy in October. Do you have any idea which day they will have the Halloween Party? I’m thinking it may be the day before or the day after pirate night??
With the expansion of the Halloween activities fleet wide in 2014 it is hard to say if the party will remain on the same night as it was during this year’s Eastern & Western Caribbean sailings.
I’m feeling dumb but I can’t figure out how to download the mickey/minnie and snowman papercrafts. The download link only links to a larger JPG image. What am I missing?
The link to download the pdf was located from the actual eCompass on Disney’s website. The direct link to the PDFs is http://disneycastawaycompass.com/assets/12-2013_holidays/disneyCruiseLine_paperToys_rev.pdf
