The [Disney_Wonder] will be arriving in Miami later this month to begin a variety of Bahamian and Western Caribbean cruises. Today, Captain Mickey kicked off the countdown when he sailed into the Port of Miami on a Magnum powerboat adorned with the Disney Cruise Line logo and two flags.

A See you real soon! banner was installed along the terminal and fireworks were set off to kick off the countown to December 23, 2012 when the Wonder will arrive.

“We are thrilled to welcome Disney Cruise Line to PortMiami” said Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez. “This is the first time the world renowned brand will operate from South Florida—Disney Cruise Line is a great addition to our Port’s growing roster of cruise brands.” source
