Preheat oven to 300ºF
INGREDIENTS

EMPANADAS

  • 10 Pre-cooked Beef Empanadas
  • 1 Egg

RED CHIMICHURRI

  • ½ bunch Cilantro, finely chopped
  • 12 clvs Garlic, minced
  • 1 White Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 T Dried Oregano
  • 1 T Smoked Paprika
  • 1 t Red Pepper Flakes
  • 4 oz Red Wine Vinegar
  • 4 oz Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 t Ground Black Pepper
  • Kosher Salt
INSTRUCTIONS

FOR THE EMPANADAS

  1. Brush the defrosted pre-cooked empanadas with the egg wash (whole egg and water), and place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  2. Remove and brush again with egg wash, place into oven on olive oil brushed parchment paper.
  3. Cook until golden brown (approximately 15 to 20 minutes).

FOR THE RED CHIMICHURRI

  1. Place all the ingredients into a large bowl and whisk together.
  2. Serve on the side with the hot empanadas.
