Chilled-to-the-Bone Fruit Soup
INGREDIENTS
SOUP
- 1 c Buttermilk
- ¼ c Honey
- 2 c Orange Juice
- 2 c Mango Puree
- Salt, to taste
- Allspice, to taste
- Mint Leaves, for garnish
- Sour Cream, for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
FOR THE SOUP
- Blend mixture until totally smooth.
- Taste and adjust fruit if you feel the urge for more.
- Chill for one hour and serve garnished with fresh mint.
NOTES
NOTE: This recipe appears to change seasonally, sometimes including honeydew melon and mango, orange and mango, or honeydew and watermelon. The same basic recipe seems to apply using 2 cups of each fruit combination. This recipe is written for Orange/Mango
