Chilled-to-the-Bone Fruit Soup

INGREDIENTS

SOUP

  • 1 c Buttermilk
  • ¼ c Honey
  • 2 c Orange Juice
  • 2 c Mango Puree
  • Salt, to taste
  • Allspice, to taste
  • Mint Leaves, for garnish
  • Sour Cream, for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS

FOR THE SOUP

  1. Blend mixture until totally smooth.
  2. Taste and adjust fruit if you feel the urge for more.
  3. Chill for one hour and serve garnished with fresh mint.
NOTES

NOTE:  This recipe appears to change seasonally, sometimes including honeydew melon and mango, orange and mango, or honeydew and watermelon.  The same basic recipe seems to apply using 2 cups of each fruit combination. This recipe is written for Orange/Mango
