On Wednesday December 13th, Disney Cruise Line revised this sailings itinerary after closely monitoring a weather system in the Eastern Caribbean that is predicted to cause high winds and rain.
Based on the storm's forecast track and the possible impact to the Bahamas over the next few days, the cruise line made the decision to change the itinerary for the this sailing.
Instead of sailing to Nassau and Castaway Cay, the Disney Dream will head to the Western Caribbean and visit Cozumel, Mexico on Saturday.
The revised itinerary will be:
- Thursday - Ft. Lauderdale, Florida
- Friday - Day at Sea (previously Nassau, The Bahamas)
- Saturday - Cozumel, Mexico (previously Castaway Cay)
- Sunday - Day at Sea
- Monday - Ft. Lauderdale, Florida
Guests choosing not to sail on the modified itinerary may change their reservations to a new itinerary with no cancellation/change fees. However, if a Guest wishes to cancel their reservation completely, they will be responsible for any cancellation fees associated with the reservation.
