On Tuesday, Disney Cruise Line emailed guests, and travel agents with guests booked on the Disney Wonder’s 15-Night South Pacific Cruise to Honolulu departing Sydney Friday February 16, 2024 with information on what to expect when the onboard activity booking window opens.
This is a unique sailing as it crosses the International Date Line. In doing so, guests will experience February 22, 2024, twice. When your booking window opens to reserve cruise activities, know that the second February 22, 2024, will not be visible online.
Guests on this sailing will be able to book cruise activities for the added day on embarkation day.
Guests may check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once onboard for the location to make and modify cruise plans. For planning purposes, the offerings on the second February 22, 2024, will be similar to those available online for the first February 22, 2024.
Please note that cruise plans booked on embarkation day for the second February 22, 2024, will not be visible on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app until the day arrives. In addition, on the second February 22, 2024, Guests will dine in the same dining room as the night before with a different menu.
Below is a copy of the email sent to travel agents.
That’s very cool.
I wonder if they’ll have a traditional ‘crossing the line’ event on the pool deck?
Shellbacks??
I’m not going to use the other name…
A bit of creative navigation, the passengers could claim Order of the Golden Shellback
Oops, nevermind, it’s crossing the equator… Sorry I was a Marine not a sailor.
