VIDEO: New Section of the Disney Wish Arrives at Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany – November 29, 2020

On November 29, 2020, the Disney Wish’s floating engine room unit (FERU) was repositioned at Meyer Weft following the float out of Royal Caribbean’s Odyssey of the Seas. The video below from the Ems -Dollart Media YouTube channel offers a view of the Disney Wish’s FERU being repositioned and the arrival of a new section of vessel on November 30, 2020.

The Disney Wish’s FERU will eventually move inside as production of the Disney Wish ramps up.

Disney Wish was originally announced for a late 2021 delivery, but due to the pandemic the dates slipped to a spring 2022 delivery with the first sailing slated for Summer 2022. The new class of Disney Cruise vessel will be powered by clean-burning liquefied natural gas.
