Personal Navigator – Day 2

Day 2 Disney Magic Sea 20141019Our relaxing day at sea started with Emily hitting the gym. Isabelle and I slept much later than usual, but it was a nice treat from the early mornings we had been having as well as those we will be returning to in a few days. During breakfast at Cabanas, Isabelle and I worked on our napkin folding skills. My favorite has always been the candle. It is one I learned years… Continue reading

Personal Navigator – Day 1

Day 1 Disney Magic San Juan 20141018Day 8, is actually the beginning of our second cruise rather than the day we disembark. Well, technically we still had to disembark. The back to back process in San Juan was flawless! I am not kidding, credit should go to all those involved aboard the Disney Magic as well as shoreside in San Juan. We were given a window to arrive in the Walt Disney Theatre depending on… Continue reading

Day 7 Disney Magic St. Kitts 20141017

While we were only a skip and a jump from St. Kitts due to our re-routed itinerary, the Disney Magic did not arrive any earlier to port. As you can see from the itinerary map, we made a bulbous bow on the map before arriving around 11AM to St. Kitts. While we waited to make our grand entry to St. Kitts, Isabelle played in the Oceaneer Lab. She… Continue reading

Disney Cruise Line Now Screening for Ebola

Due to the recent Ebola Outbreak and even more recent issue aboard the Carnival Magic, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a Level 3 travel notice for US Citizens to nonessential travel to the West African nations of Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone. In an abundance of caution, Disney Cruise Line is actively verifying with arriving guests that they have been following the guidelines outline by the CDC.

We were presented with this new health questionnaire while checking in for our cruise aboard the Disney Magic earlier this morning in Puerto Rico.

The new questions are… Continue reading

Day 4 Disney Magic Barbados 20141014

On Tuesday, we arrived in Barbados on a beautifully sunny day. Our port adventure was not scheduled to meet until almost the noon hour so we decided to just take it easy. This started with breakfast on the aft deck of Cabanas which provided a view of Barbados’ port. The port itself is more industrial and requires you to walk a little bit to hail a taxi if you… Continue reading
