We met on the ship & boarded a tender boat with several other groups. Once off the tender, we took a short walk to another dock & boarded a boat for a short ride out to Cheeseburger Reef. The reef was so beautiful & expansive. The best reef I have ever had the privilege of seeing in the Caribbean. So many beautiful fish & an abundance of healthy coral. We swam all around here for about 45 minutes & snorkel vests were provided but not required which I appreciated. The water was perfectly clear & the water temperature was great. Minimal current. We then got back on the boat & took a very short ride over to the Cali shipwreck. Our guides provided the history of the shipwreck & we swam here for probably 30 minutes. Both stops were close to shore & you could see the cruise ship the entire time. After this we took a very short ride back to the dock. The dock is right next to a waterfront restaurant that offers access to the water, but there are no showers to rinse off. Once the tour is over, you can walk around & board the tender back to the ship when you're ready. We had 3 generations on this port adventure & we all enjoyed it. | ||
