| We were sailing with elementary-aged boys and we really enjoyed this tour. They split you up into groups of 4 or 5, so it was just our family and the guide on the river once we got going. He was very friendly and gave us a lot of information about the history of Jamaica, the plantation and the river. It was a bumpy truck ride to get to the river. The river is fairly calm so you're just floating along. The abundant shade of the trees means you don't need a lot of sunscreen, but I would recommend bug spray. Wear a bathing suit and make sure you bring shoes you want to get wet. Tevas are ideal, but we wore flip-flops and were fine. | ||
