This was our first time cruising so I have no other cruise to compare to. I was surprised at how much room was in the stateroom. It has a mini bathtub too which surprised me. Contrary to what it says, it does not have bunk beds.
We traveled the trans atlantic. The room was pretty central as far as location to the elevators or stairs. The laundry room was really close by also. I wrote very good on noise because there will be noise no matter what level. I was afraid we would hear the engines but never really did. Noise also depends on your neighbor. We never heard ours.
Location was great for us, but some people will not like walking up all the levels or waiting for the elevators.
