While in Dry Dock at the end of September 2003 the Disney Magic underwent a full scale cleaning and rehabilitation as well as changes to some of it’s major venues. Here are the changes you’ll find on board the Magic.
The ESPN Skybox has been transformed into a high-energy dance club specifically for teens called The Stack.
Common Grounds, which had been the teen coffee house, has become The Cove. This area is exclusive to adult guests 18 years of age and older and offers specialty coffees and drinks. This new coffee bar is only accessible via the adult pool area located deck 9 forward.
The dueling piano venue in Beat Street . Off Beat underwent some cosmetic changes. The dueling pianos have been replaced by a standard, upright piano giving the club a more ‘honky-tonk’ piano bar feel. This new venue is called Diversions, and will also be a place where sports fans can go to enjoy special sporting events aired while cruising.
