This room rocks! Room 5654 is a Deluxe Family Stateroom with Verandah on the Starboard side Aft. It not only has an extended verandah with 4 seats (two of which have a reclining back), but it is on a dead end hallway with very little traffic (the only people that ventured down our hallway were the people staying in the staterooms down that way). Close to elevators, but noise from that is nonexistent. We picked the Starboard side because in both Nassau and Castaway Cay, the captain spun the ship and backed into the port slip. We had a view of the Atlantis Resort and the entire island of Castaway Cay. It is on the same deck as the Oceaneers Club/Lab which was AWESOME (we have a 5 year old), but not the same side of the ship as the entrances to the clubs (no noise from guests dropping off and picking up their kids). There was also NO noise through the walls of the kids playing in the Club/Lab. It's also on the same side of the ship as the fireworks. I would not recommend going out on the verandah to watch them (they were VERY close), but you can see them out your verandah door. The only noise that might bother some (if any at all) is the sound of the engine/propeller that we could hear in the morning (ONLY on port days) when the ship was turning around to park. It's not so much noise as vibrations. It didn't bother myself or my family, but the stateroom next to use made a comment.
