This stateroom is one of the "Secret Veranda" staterooms. It is positioned in the starboard aft section of the ship in between the CAT 7A (Navigator's Veranda) and the CAT 5C (Plexiglass Veranda) cabins. The cabin has a plexiglass veranda, but a very small part of the wall that surrounds the open porthole in the Navigator's Veranda cabin next door, extends over into the veranda of 6634. Because of this, the room is sold at the lower category (7A) as an "obstructed view." The stateroom is really a CAT 5C with a slightly obstructed view on the veranda. Three people (which the cabin holds) can easily stand at the railing at the same time and have a perfect view, so in my opinion, the obstruction is not relevant.

Our cruise was an Alaska cruise, and we wanted a veranda room for a constant view. We set up the camera on the tripod on the veranda and my daughter and I were able to capture the round trip excursion into the glacier with the camera, while we stood beside the tripod on the veranda and still had a perfect view.

We did not find the cabin to be noticeably noisy. There is always a little engine noise in the aft section of the ship, but we noticed no noise other than that. The cabin is very close to the aft elevators, and provides easy access to the Beach Blanket buffet and the drink stations. Stateroom attendants kept the room well maintained, and we found the two twin beds comfortable. We always enjoy the convenience of the split bathrooms.

We enjoyed this stateroom very much and would definitely book it again in the future.
