We were in Navigator’s Veranda 6638 for 7 nights beginning 12/14/2014. This was our 11th DCL cruise (3rd on the Reimagined Magic). We would book this cabin again; 14 months after extensive drydock, and the living portion (carpet, sofa and table, steamer trunk/dresser, bed and nightstands) of the stateroom remains essentially new. The split bathrooms, however, have not been upgraded, though they were clean and still provide a good experience. On 2 mornings of our cruise, the toilet would not flush, but would do so by itself (a “phantom flush”) a few minutes or an hour later and then not act up again for a few days. Thankfully, we didn’t hear any noise from the hallway or other staterooms. Also, even when we had 45mph winds one night, this stateroom had no noticeable creaking (no shims). Being aft, it was an easy walk aft to elevators or stairs straight up to Cabanas or Palo, or down to the movie Theatre, Animator’s, Cariocas, the Promenade Lounge, and the tender lobby. We rarely used the busy midship elevators, but the walk forward is pretty easy to use elevators or stairs right up to the Spa, or down to the show Theatre and shopping or After Hours.
