It was just me and my 8 year old daughter, so this room was perfect. There is a pull down berth in this room, which my daughter loved. She also thought the magic porthole was much more exciting than a plain old porthole window. Being on the 2nd deck was very convenient. It was easy to walk up the stairs to decks 3 and 4 where so many things happen. It was also very easy to disembark in port. I really liked the fact that there are very few staterooms on deck 2, so it is quick and easy to get to your room.
