One-bedroom concierge, starboard side on the bump out. The bump out provides extra deep verandah space. The concierge stateroom host was able to provide us with a lounger that laid completely flat due to the extra space on the verandah. Room was in excellent shape, with little or no wear and tear. With all bedroom doors open, it provides an open floor plan in the suite. With bedroom doors closed, the room remained dark, even in the morning light. Stateroom safe was not working upon check-in due to a battery issue, it was determined. The maintenance crew responded immediately and fixed the safe quickly. The area under the living room TV console provided extra drawer space along with closets and other dresser drawers. Plenty of space under the queen sized bed to store empty luggage. Family of three had no problems with storing clothes for a seven night cruise including two formal dinners. There were additional drawers in the bathroom that were not utilized. Deep soaking tub, rain shower, enclosed toilet, two sinks in vanity and additional television in the bathroom mirror. On demand movies were excellent. Dining room had plenty of room for four to have a nice meal. Very close to the entry to the concierge lounge and sundeck. Easy to pop across the hall for coffee, treats, cocktails during complimentary happy hour prior to dinner, or breakfast offerings. Very little if any noise in the stateroom. It felt very private, elegant, and luxurious. Our pre-teen son felt the queen-sized sofa bed was more comfortable than the wall bed, and slept very comfortably. Husband utilized the pillow menu for concierge, and I enjoyed the standard bedding. Between the rocking of the ship and the cozy bed, it was very hard to get any reading done at night, we fell asleep so promptly!
