This Aft port side 6A Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with white wall oversized Verandah was the greatest location. Around the corner down the hall was the laundry room, around the corner was the secret staircase up to inside Cabanas. Note this is the refurbished Wonder and the deck 7 secret deck is no longer available. Easy walk up to pool deck and down to restaurants. The Muster Drill had us in the Animators Palate using the back castmember staircase. Quiet halls and nice curved verandah where you could see the back of the ship and the front. It is next to the two Cat 5, handicapped staterooms. Balcony furniture was only one small round table and 2 deck chairs not loungers. Our son was 48 inches tall so it was not easy for him to see the water, so we would not book this again. It did have a much better wind break than regular verandahs. Room was slightly narrower, and it did not have the steamer trunk for storage. Sleeps 3. Very much vibrated during docking and woke you up, but it was early enough to rise anyways. Since this was arriving or departing the port it was not a big deal.

I am conflicted writing anything negative about a DCL ship or cruise, but our stay in this room was not the greatest. This was our first experience staying aft and in a room with a verandah, so maybe my complaints are just the norm with this type of room. On our previous 3 cruises, we have stayed in an inside stateroom mid-ship.
First the positives - the room is lovely, the verandah is a whitewall and seems to be bigger than others because it is closer to where the back of the ship starts to curve. We enjoyed hanging out on the verandah while leaving ports and had a great view, even with the whitewall. The room was a great size for our family of 3, it does not have a pull down bunk so I think it can only accommodate up to 3 guests. There was plenty of storage for our three night cruise, the room was very clean and nicely appointed. The location was great, only 2 flights of stairs up to Cabanas and the pool. It was a quick trip down back stairs to our muster station.
Now the negatives - we could feel terrible shaking from the engines in this room any time the ship was moving. At night, it seemed even worse and there was terrible rattling. We told our host that one of the bathroom lights was loose and they fixed it, but there was additional rattling that we never quite determine the source. We had a hard time sleeping because of the rattling and the vibrating of our bed. I don't know if this is normal or was because the seas were a little rougher during the cruise. I also don't know it this is because we were on the Magic and it is an older ship.
Unfortunately we would not book this room again, I hope others have better luck in it.

Overall a great room. It doesn't have a pull down bunk bed though. But the balcony is a good size. It's in a great condition the only thing if it gets marked down for is you feel it when docking in port. If you're an early/normal riser that might not be an issue.
