Secret porthole window was okay..good to let in some light, though if really sunny the reflection off the brackets etc was too much, resulting in closed curtains anyway.

Cabin in forward area, deck 5. Great location for Oceaneer Lab (same deck, right down the short corridor), elevator (short corridor away), theatre (1 deck down), Cove Bar/adult deck area (elevator or stairway to deck 9), Edge (tween club) and family pool area (midship and up to deck 9), movie theatre (same deck, just beyond midship), adult lounges (elevator or stairway to deck 3), main lobby and guest services (elevator or stairway, then walk short distance towards midship).

Good amount of storage for clothing (8 drawers total by desk area/2 deep drawers, 6 shallow, plus center desk drawer; 5 drawers near closet (2 deep, 3 shallow); double door closet with lots of hangers; 1/4 short hanging due to safe, etc, 3/4 full length hanging and/or floor storage room). Bed has lots of high room underneath to store even hard sided suitcases. Split bathroom, one with several triangular shelves for toiletries; each has one (somewhat narrow) shelf above the sink for storage.

Small nightstand drawer on either side of the bed, each with an outlet (dual US and European style plugs) for phone or tablet charger/cpap machine etc.
Very narrow area when passing between dresser (next to closet) and corner of the bed makes getting ready a little difficult, but overall cabin is a decent size for a cruise cabin.

This is my favorite of the locations on the ship, super easy to access the kids club! The porthole, although obstructed, is welcome and the view wasn't completely obstructed.
