This stateroom faces aft (I would have preferred forward!). It was a bit noisier than I would have liked. We heard outside noise when the ship picked up a pilot before entering Helsinki. In fact, the boat pulled up directly under our window and the pilot went into some sort of doorway below us. We were located near the aft elevators, which was fairly convenient BUT we were also right across from where the stateroom hosts and hostesses would congregate to gather their supplies and chat. It was very loud and there were always hosts/hostesses in the hall. I don't know that I would choose this location again. We didn't hear elevator noise, as I feared we might, it was the housekeeping noise.
