On December 15th, Disney Cruise Line informed guests arriving at the terminal of an itinerary adjustment do to a weather system in The Bahamas that is predicted to cause in high winds and rain over the next few days.

Based on the storm's forecast track and the conditions expected on Sunday, the cruise line made the decision to cancel the stop at Castaway Cay on Sunday, December 17th. Instead, the Disney Wish will spend the day at sea and remain a safe distance from the storm.

The revised itinerary will be:

  • Friday - Port Canaveral, Florida
  • Saturday - Nassau, The Bahamas
  • Sunday - Day at Sea (previously Castaway Cay)
  • Monday - Port Canaveral, Florida

Disney Cruise Line understands this change may be disappointing to Guests, however nothing is more important than providing a safe and enjoyable experience for their Guests and Crew.

Any Port Adventures that were pre-reserved at Castaway Cay will automatically be removed from the Guests' onboard accounts. Guests can check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app onboard for a complete listing of available activities.
