DCL needs to give me a whole lot more than $250 to get me back onboard the Wish or any of her sister ships.
Clearly this ship is not selling out like the others otherwise they wouldn’t be running this promotion. They’ll run it for the Disney Visa/Vacation members first, and if they don’t get any bites they’ll run it for the general public. They made the biggest mistake to have someone who has never been on a cruise before design a ship. And then with all the feedback, not make any changes to their next two ships! I suspect they are going to lose a lot of money on these three ships because everyone I’ve talked to is one and done and goes back to the older four ships. I just hope they don’t make the same errors for their next line of smaller ships.
The Treasure is actually my second favorite ship (behind the Fantasy)! I’ve been on Wish and Treasure already, am going on the Wish again this fall, and have the Destiny booked for a B2B next January. To each their own, of course, just showing that there are people out there who don’t mind the newer ships.
The Wish is a nightmare if you’re mobility challenged. Fewer & narrower elevators at the ends of the ship, narrower corridors, steps and stairs almost everywhere, no promenade, bars at choke points, only one way in and out of Cove Cafe, etc.
