If you made it this far, thanks for reading, if you watched the video, thanks for watching.
Wow Scott… you put a lot of work in on this. Great job & thanks.
Great video! Is there now a very relaxed dress policy now at Palo? I saw a DCL social media post where a guest appeared to wearing clothes more appropriate for Cabanas.
I am not sure what to say without seeing the post, but it comes down to enforcement. Remy and Enchanté are the only places I’ve witnessed any enforcement of the dress policy. I should note, they draw the line at ordering a Mickey Cake for a birthday dinner because they don’t want anyone singing Happy Birthday.
I’ve seen (sadly) people in shorts, t-shirt, and flip flops going into Palo. It looks like they don’t care anymore.
The main reason I ask is a story on the official DCL instagram page showed a person in Palo and they clearly were in informal dress. It came off as cheesy and had an influencer vibe.
A year ago they changed the policy where you could wear shorts to Palo and Palo Steakhouse for brunch. It is on their website. I personally am used to being told in a work setting how to conform. After 23 years in the military. I don’t have a problem conforming. People do not like to be told no. They don’t want to read and follow the directions. I am told no every single day. I am delighted to wear the appropriate clothing for the appropriate setting.
Little things I’m talking about, Disney put the hero zone door right next to the quiet cove hot tub. So you’ve got families in teenagers walking past us all the time. Not very quiet..
