This week, Disney Auditions put out a casting call searching for musicians to be part of the opening cast aboard the Disney Adventure with online submissions. Specifically, Disney Cruise Line is seeking a musical Duo and a Solo Vocal Guitarists naturally familiar with musical genres from Southeast Asian (examples could include: Mandopop, K-pop, Malay Pop, Indonesian Indie/Folk, Cantopop, Bollywood, Indi-pop) and Global/International Pop (which can include current and classic American pop music). Additionally, the cruise line is searching for a solo guitarist, solo violinist familiar and solo instrumental pianist both with a familiarity of Disney songs along and a repertoire of music in various genres, including Classical and International Pop.

Accepting Online Auditions until April 13, 2025 at 11:45pm EST.

Contract Details:

• Onboard opportunities start as early as October 2025.
• Musicians will share a bunk bed cabin with one other performer.
• Performers should be ready to perform up to 3 hours per day, 6 days per week for a whole contract (2-4 months).

Seeking the following roles:

Duo

• MUST be naturally familiar with musical genres from Southeast Asian (examples could include: Mandopop, K-pop, Malay Pop, Indonesian Indie/Folk, Cantopop, Bollywood, Indi-pop) and Global/International Pop (which can include current and classic American pop music).
• Both musicians should sing and play an instrument.
• Performers must be comfortable engaging with Guests, take requests, and create a fun environment for all ages.
• Musicians must be comfortable performing indoors and outdoors.

Audition Material: Please record and submit as an unlisted YouTube link

• 30-second introduction of yourself.
• 3 short segments of songs in different regional styles (Mandopop, K-pop, Malay Pop, Indonesian Indie/Folk, Cantopop, Indi-pop, or similar) (no more than 2 minutes).
• 3 short segments of Global/International Pop songs (current and classic American pop) (no more than 2 minutes).

Solo Vocal Guitarist

• MUST be naturally familiar with musical genres from Southeast Asian (examples could include: Mandopop, K-pop, Malay Pop, Indonesian Indie/Folk, Cantopop, Bollywood, Indi-pop) and Global/International Pop (which can include current and classic American pop music).
• Vocals are required.
• Performers must be comfortable engaging with Guests, take requests, and create a fun environment for all ages.
• Musicians must be comfortable performing indoors and outdoors.

• 30-second introduction of yourself.
• 3 short segments of songs in different regional styles (Mandopop, K-pop, Malay Pop, Indonesian Indie/Folk, Cantopop, Indi-pop, or similar) (no more than 2 minutes).

Solo Violinist

• MUST know Disney songs well.
• Must have a large repertoire of music in various genres, including Classical and International Pop.
• This role is instrumental.
• Performers must be comfortable engaging with Guests, take requests, and create a fun environment for all ages.
• Musicians must be comfortable performing indoors and outdoors.

Solo Instrumental Pianist

• This role is instrumental.
• Performers must be comfortable engaging with Guests, take requests, and create a fun environment for all ages.
• Musicians must be comfortable performing indoors and outdoors.
