Disney Cruise Line announced Summer 2026 itineraries today for the fleet, the currently bookable fleet: Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, Disney Destiny, and Disney Adventure. With today’s announcement, the Disney Cruise Line fleet will be departing from a variety of regional homeports ports across the globe with year round options continuing in Florida from Port Canaveral and Fort Lauderdale.

The Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Fantasy will sail from Port Canaveral, and the Disney Destiny will remain in Fort Lauderdale with expanded offerings. The Disney Dream will return to Europe while the Disney Adventure remains in Singapore offering “at sea” cruises. The big news is that the Disney Magic will join her sister, the Disney Wonder in Alaska! Finally, there are a number of itinerary gaps which I will highlight under each impacted ship.

Below you will find a breakout by ship, but this is a WORK IN PROGRESS AND INCOMPLETE UNTIL THIS MESSAGE IS UPDATED AND CROSSED OUT. At that point, I will be updating the website as time permits – Please note, new itinerary maps will not be available until I can confirm the port order for the new itineraries when the go on sale next week. The best way to be alerted to updates is by following me on X (formerly Twitter) @TheDCLblog – I will tweet updates as I add the sailings to the website and update this article. At the very end, you will find Disney Cruise Line’s Itinerary Announcement press release.

The remainder of this post is a work in progress and will be updated multiple times today as the new sail dates are processed.

Please note, the port order may be different and will be adjusted once the full detailed itineraries are available to view on Disney Cruise Line’s website. Due to the nature of the announcement, there will likely be a number of conflicts showing at Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay which will be resolved once the actual itineraries for each sailing are revealed when they go on sale. Missing itinerary maps will also be added next week once the itineraries are verified.

As of February 10, 2025 – the itineraries and sail dates have been verified.

Disney Cruise Line loaded the new Summer 2025 dates here which you can browse now and see early pricing. A summary of Summer 2026 opening day prices will be added and a link will appear HERE once published. The pricing is also available in the summary PDFs for each ship linked below.

Disney Magic Summer 2026 Sailings

The Disney Magic’s new summer 2026 itineraries will start on April 19th in San Diego, California following a two-week Panama Canal Cruise and for sail Alaska for the first time! The Disney Magic will port at a new for Disney Cruise Line, Ward Cove in Ketchikan on select sailings. Ward Cove began operation in August 2021 with the use of a floating cruise ship dock that can accommodate two large ships. Norwegian Cruise Line invested in the project which is called the Mill at Ward Cove, and has priority docking rights there. Free bus service to Ketchikan is available to passengers who disembark there.

There is an itinerary gap from April 23 – May 16, 2026 just that begins when the Disney Magic repositions from San Diego to Vancouver. Pure speculation, but this could be a dry dock period that could potentially include a hull reinforcement similar to the Disney Wonder for sailing in the Alaskan waters with ice.

In total, there are 19 new sail dates between April 19, 2026 and September 10, 2026. Here is a PDF of DCL’s website showing the new sailings.

YAWN. All these ships and they just keep offering the same things over and over and over again. If you are going to send 2 ships to Alaska why not have them do some different itineraries?

So disappointed the Magic is going to Alaska. I was really hoping with the Magic coming to San Diego that we were going to get some summer Cabo cruises for us here on the West Coast. I guess I’ll hold out hope that they resume fall itineraries to Mexico from San Diego.

Scott, any idea what the Magic is doing in between her arrival in Vancouver in April and her first Alaska sail date on May 16?

I too was really hoping the Magic was going to have an itinerary out of San Diego after the Panama Canal cruise! Here’s hoping like you said we get some Fall itineraries with the Magic!

Most of these are the usual, but the European itineraries look amazing! The transatlantic is kinda disappointing though, but they did add an extra day; glad I booked the one for this year. The Magic and Wonder both being in Alaska is kind of confusing if you ask me. I would have thought the Magic would have stayed in San Diego to do Baja cruises in the Summer, a time when many children on the West Coast are out of school.

I did notice the Magic has about a month gap after her Pacific Coast cruise to Vancouver and starting her Alaskan season. Is she going into Dry Dock in Victoria? Will she do some Hawaiian cruises? I’m not sure. If the Magic’s last dry dock was in 2021, then I believe it would be a dry dock.

    Hello Scott-
Thank you for all the info you continue to share with us!
I thought that I saw something about a Transatlantic Cruise eastbound from Port Canaveral? Is this happening, and what year please?

I was hoping, that with them running both the Magic and Wonder up to Alaska, they’d do longer cruises and different itineraries, such as going more north to see the Northern Lights. Do you think that this is a sign of things to come, or am I reading too much into it? If this is a sign of things to come, do you think that it could happen in 2027? I’d love your input.

For a long time, I was always the guy that said follow the pattern. Well, with the rapid expansion of the fleet it is hard to really pinpoint what will happen over the next few years. The Magic and to a lesser extent the Wonder were used as the ambassador ships when the Dream & Fantasy launched sailing to uncharted waters. I think they may just be exploring options and seeing what works and what doesn’t. I also think they are making deployment decisions based on analytics and trends that can support/drive the business decsions.

I understand the Magic dry dock is meant to do modifications to accommodate Alaska itineraries – similar to those made to the Wonder.

The lack of new itineraries is quite baffling. But maybe is there more money to be made in only “best sellers” locations. There’s only two that seems appealing to me – which is crazy considering the amount of boats available.

Still, I wouldn’t bet on ships being full at that price point. I am not quite sure why it would seem better to have many promotions rather than better initial pricing.

Sorry Scott I did not see you indeed mentionnes already the dry dock explanation in your post.

I re-read ! I thought it was laughable Disney mentioned “more itineraries than ever” while really I even think there are less.

It is unfortunate that they are not offering longer Alaskan voyages with two ships and still no Hubbard Glacier. Other cruise lines call on other ports in the state. I would think after well over a decade of sailing Alaska, the could expand into additional ports of call on occasion.

Indeed, especially when DVC members would like to combine the trip of a lifetime with an Adventures by Disney Excursion back to back. Would love to spend 3 weeks in Alaska since we have to fly there from the South.
        Had been anxiously awaiting….

I love the idea of the Magic and the Wonder going up to Alaska but like to put maybe the Wonder in San Diego and the Magic up in Alaska. I am surprised though that the dream is going back up to Europe I would have thought that the Fantasy would be going back up like they did with the summer 2023 and 2024 cruises where she went up to Europe twice. Like put the fantasy backup in Europe and have the Dream go back down to Port Canaveral. But that is just my opinion.

Will two ships be docking at Castaway and Lookout in Summer 2026? I saw this on the port meetup page. How would this logistically be possible?

This is explained in the article.

They flipped St Thomas & Tortola on the Treasure Eastern sailings from the initial, “unofficial” listing. Unfortunate, as we were excited it was showing St Thomas first, which gives you a couple of extra hours as opposed to when it is after Tortola. That makes it worth the trip over to St John. Not worth going to St John with a 3:45 all aboard time.

Can you please change the map for the June 17, 2026 Disney Dream. The itinerary is Rome, Chania, Santorini, Mykonos, Naples and back to Rome. The shows the ship going to Mykonos, Santorini, Chania and Naples therefore in the incorrect order. Thanks for all you do.
