On November 19, 2024, the Disney Treasure was christened in New York with a small portion of the event streamed live by the Disney Parks Blog.
Overnight, Disney shared more of the ceremony which included commentary by Bob Iger and Josh D’Amaro with special guest Jordan Sparks singing the Disney Treasure’s signature song, ‘Live the Adventure’ along with an incredible drone show over the Hudson River.

Definitely very creative and impressive, with everyone now pretty much wishing that one day, DCL adds “drone spectaculars at sea”! (Probably too many drones to store on a ship though…)
Wind would be a primary concern and likely cause more show cancellations than with fireworks.

I loved the drone show, but I wish they were able to stream the entire ceremony. Either way, looking forward to sailing the Treasure next fall for HHOTS!
Scott, You said Disney shared more of the ceremony, but not where. Did they not share it via a public forum where we can see it? It was a shame the livestream crashed in the middle of the Treasure showing off her tunes!
