Today, Disney Cruise Line shared some details on the Disney Treasures horn melodies. Teams onboard the transatlantic crossing have been testing out seven new arrangements of familiar Disney melodies
Several of the new ship horn sounds were chosen to complement the daring tales that will be found onboard the Disney Treasure, while others capture the ship’s motif of adventure. Future Disney Cruise Line guests will soon hear the Disney Parks’ classic, “Grim Grinning Ghosts,” a nod to the Haunted Mansion Parlor; “Remember Me” from the Pixar Animation Studios film, “Coco,” honoring the theatrical dining restaurant, Plaza de Coco; and “A Whole New World” from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film, “Aladdin,” a tie to the ship’s Grand Hall.
The team even created a special holiday composition for this year’s holiday season. More can be heard in the following video taken when the horns were first being testing in Germany.
Below is a closer look at the Mickey Horn from sister ship, Disney Wish.
I think you posted the wrong video !
What do you mean?
The second video looks like a private garden video – not unpleasant but definitely not a horn !
The video may be of a garden, but you can hear the horn testing in the background. The poster of the video, “Nathan” is located in the UK (as indicated by his profile on YouTube). His residence is clearly within earshot of the Papenburg Germany shipyard. While the video content itself may be a little obscure, I’m sure this was an unplanned video (as in he was in his backyard, heard the horns and started abruptly recording to capture the audio). Only an unofficial observation and guess.
I must have had the volume on low then ! That’s quite amusing
