All New Disney Cruise Line ‘Magic Meets the Seas’ Float Sails Through New York City During the 2024 Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade

Today, during the 98th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Disney Cruise Line returned for the fourth consecutive year with an all new Magic Meets the Seas parade float. During the parade, the float pulled into port in front of Macy’s while a cast of familiar characters performed.

Set sail with Disney Cruise Line as it brings the adventure of the high seas to the parade with its spectacular float, “Magic Meets the Seas.” Featuring the bows of Disney’s growing fleet, including the highly anticipated Disney Treasure, this float celebrates Disney Cruise Line’s ongoing expansion.

Leading the parade float are Captain Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie Mouse, joined by a cast of beloved characters from Disney Animation and Pixar favorites like Aladdin, Coco, and Moana. True to Disney Cruise Line’s tradition of Broadway-style performance featuring hits from Disney classics and a confetti-filled finale set to “Live the Adventure,” celebrating Disney Treasure’s spirit of exploration.

I want Universal to launch a cruise line to companion the Universal Theme Parks so freaking bad. I want to see properties like Harry Potter, Despicable Me/Minions, E.T., Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, DreamWorks franchises (Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, and How To Train Your Dragon) and most of all Nintendo (Super Mario Bros., Legend of Zelda, Animal Crossing) all have a day at sea just like The Disney Cruise Line does for Disney properties. Also with Epic Universe opening next year and a Universal Kids Park opening in Texas, it would be a great time for Universal to launch a cruise line. Please Comcast I’m begging you, please launch a Universal Cruise Line, please.
