Thank you Alan Cohen and Justen for both taking the time to share information from this sailing. If you have any navigators you would be willing to share, please send me an email. If you would rather upload the files you can use our upload form.
This cruise did end up showing inside out 2 by request of the guests they added it late Thursday night at 11:15 and then showed it throughout friday
Are paper navigators making a comeback or are these crew member naivgators?
They’re available only by request at Guest Services. For this cruise, they were available each evening after 6 pm for the following day. I can only speculate that DCL made this change due to significant guest pushback with their app-only approach. They’ve been a “permanent” option on all 5 ships for several months now. DCL may cease this @ anytime, but I’m enjoying it while it lasts.
An additional detail about this cruise… Don “Duckie” Williams was onboard as a special guest. He did a 60 min presentation in the WDT and a 30 min drawing class in The Tube. During the WDT presentation, he shared his story of how he began working for Disney and then raffled off sketches that he drew live while giving the presentation. In addition, he did a “meet and greet” in D Lounge on the last day. Just about everyone brought their lithograph stateroom gift for him to sign. The event was only scheduled for 30 min but he stayed and greeted every last person in line (which was LONG). 30 min turned into 90 min, what a great guy he is, was a pleasure to meet him!
He is amazing! We were fortunate enough to receive one of his drawings from his presentation.
