runDisney revealed a spinner medal for the Castaway Cay Challenge which is part of the the 2023 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend.

The Castaway Cay Challenge is schedule for 7:00 AM on January 12, 2023. The sold out race is an extra 5k race for guests participating in the Walt Disney Marathon weekend and booked on the 4-Night Bahamian cruise aboard the Disney Wish sailing Monday January 9, 2023.

Participants will receive a Castaway Cay 5K Medallion as well as the Disney Castaway Cay Challenge Medal after completion of 5K. Participants will receive a shirt. A personalized race bib for those that register by September 2, 2022. The 5k will feature on-Course and post-race refreshments. The 2023 Castaway Cay Challenge race add-on when available to book was $95.94.

The 2023 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend marks the 30th Anniversary of the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend which is presented by State Farm. The weekend includes runs from 5k up to a full Marathon along with some added challenge options for those running multiple days. The event features a decades theme with a dose of 90’s retro vibes, iconic Characters and a glimpse into the runDisney of years of past.
