Disney Cruise Line put out a casting call for actors to fill character look-alike roles for the upcoming Pixar Day at Sea cruises aboard the Disney Fantasy. Disney is primary searching to cast the roles for characters from The Incredibles franchise, specifically, Frozen, Elastagirl, Mr. Incredible, and Edna Mode.

The Disney Careers casting call reads as follows.

Disney Cruise Line is now accepting submissions for the new season of Pixar Day at Sea aboard the Disney Fantasy. Casting for look-Alike roles for staged events, immersive meet & greet, productions, and surprise happenings!  Must be available approximately November 11, 2022 to December 17, 2022 AND January 6, 2023 to March 11, 2023.

Performers will be hired as onboard Crew, and must complete all application, pre-employment and onboarding requirements.  Including criminal background check, and medical.  Contract will include rehearsal and performance rate, onboard contract completion bonus, meals while onboard, travel and shared housing.  Roles will be type-cast. 

Select candidates will be further investigated pending role consideration, including but not limited to height, look, and acting ability.  

SEEKING

• Frozone:  As seen in the Pixar film The Incredibles.  Seeking performer with appropriate look, and vocal quality.  6’2” to 6’4”, lean and lanky physique.  
• Elastigirl:  As seen in the Pixar film The Incredibles.  Seeking performer with appropriate look, and vocal quality.  5’5” to 5’7”, athletic build, trim core, approximately size 6.  
• Mr. Incredible: As seen in the Pixar Film The Incredibles.  Seeking performer with appropriate look, and vocal quality.  6’1” to 6’3”, with a somewhat barrel-chested body builder physique.  
• Edna Mode:  As seen in the Pixar film The Incredibles.  Seeking performer with appropriate look, and vocal emulation.  4’10” to 5’1”.

Seeking performer with appropriate look, and vocal quality. Performer will be involved in staged productions, meet & greet, happenings, and immersive events; both scripted and improvised. Performer should be 6’1” to 6’3”, with a somewhat barrel-chested body builder physique.

Pixar Day at Sea was announced in January 2022, for the following sailings aboard the Disney Fantasy between January and early-March 2023.
