January & February 2021 Sailings & Select Voyages Over 7-nights Removed From Disney Cruise Line’s Website

Disney Cruise Line quietly removed all January and February 2021 sailings from their online booking page as well as select sailings with US embarkation/debarkation ports over 7-nights due to the CDC’s restriction that all sailings through October 2021 can only be up to 7-nights. The European sailings are not impacted by this restriction at this time. The removal of sailings from further booking comes just under a month after the CDC allowed the No Sail Order to expire and issued framework for the conditional sailing of cruise ships within the jurisdiction of the United States. Other cruise lines announced cancellations late last week, but Disney has not made an official announcement. However, the removal of sailings from online booking has been a precursor to previously cancellation announcements.

The following January & February 2021 sailings are no longer listed:

Disney Magic

Disney Wonder

Disney Dream

Disney Fantasy

The next bookable cruises on Disney Cruise Line’s website are:

The following sailings over 7-nights have also been removed:

Again, it is important to keep in mind, these sailings listed above are NOT officially cancelled. This could just be Disney’s way to limit further bookings in order to limit capacity for onboard physical distancing and required quarantine stateroom inventory if the ships are able to resume sailing under restrictive guidelines. Alternatively, they could simply be preventing any further bookings until they have a better idea what the future holds based on the framework recently issued by the CDC.

I stress, please note, at this time, this is information is based on an observation and should not be considered fact until any official announcement is made by Disney Cruise Line. Please do not call Disney based on this posting, as nothing has officially changed.

We will continue to monitor this situation and provide updates when applicable.

We were supposed to be sailing on the January 9th sailing and this morning our sailing was not listed on our Reservation List anymore.

My Panama Canal is still in my reservations list, but I am waiting for the inevitable… sigh!
My next one after that is a Halloween day cruise on the Magic from NYC. Fingers crossed…

We have now had 4 cruises cancelled. We have rescheduled Halloween on the High Seas and Very Merrytime on the Dream in 2021 from Port Canaveral and on the Wonder out of New Orleans coinciding Mardi Gras in 2022. We still have another FCC

We canceled our Feb 6 Fantasy cruise back in early October, under the assumption that this would be what happened, and it looks like we made the right call. So sad to be missing our Disney trip this spring; we look forward to it every winter.
