Today, Disney Cruise Line announced the extension of their cruise suspension for sailings through December 2020 due to the ongoing fallout of Coronavirus pandemic and the framework issued at by the CDC for the resumption of cruise operations in the United States. While the CDC didn’t get to extend the No Sail Order into February 2021, they basically found an alternative way to stall the gradual resumption with a laundry list of hurdles the cruise ships much conquer before welcoming guests back onboard.
Disney Cruise Line remains focused on the health and well-being of our guests and team members, and are carefully reviewing the guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and working together with industry partners on a path to resuming operations. As they continue to refine their protocols for an eventual return to service, Disney decided to cancel all sailings through December 2020. Sailings are cancelled on board the Disney Fantasy through December 26; Disney Wonder and Disney Magic through December 30; and the Disney Dream through December 31.
Guests booked on affected sailings who have paid their reservation in full will be offered the choice of a cruise credit to be used for a future sailing or a full refund. Guests who have not paid their reservations in full will automatically receive a refund of what they have paid so far.
For those booked on these sailings who have paid their in full will be offered the the choice of a 125% future cruise credit to be used for a future sailing prior to May 31, 2022, or a full refund. Guests who have not paid their reservations in full will automatically receive a refund of what they have paid to date.
Guests who booked their reservation through a travel agent should contact them directly with any questions. Those who booked directly with Disney Cruise Line and have questions after receiving their email should call (866) 325-6685 or (407) 566-7797.

COVID-19 Warning
While we are still evaluating the timing, when we return to sailing we will inform you of enhanced health and safety measures—for you, our other Guests, Cast and Crew Members. You will be required to follow all posted instructions while sailing with Disney Cruise Line.
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and Guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.
By sailing with Disney Cruise Line you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
Help keep each other healthy.
Based on the CDC’s guidelines, DCL (and most cruise lines) won’t be sailing this winter. I don’t understand why they continue to string these cancellations out now that it’s obvious that it’s going to be at least 60 days beyond the date when the cruise lines have their COVID response ready.
If DCL cancels a cruise that was booked with the onboard 10% discount, do you still retain that discount in addition to the extra 25% credit?
