Disney Wishes Closing Date Announced

Disney Wishes will go dark following the Disney Fantasy’s August 31, 2019 7-night Western Caribbean cruise according to an email from Disney Cruise Line to travel agents with clients booked on Disney Fantasy sailings between September 7, 2019 and October 18, 2019.

Back in May, Disney announced Frozen, A Musical Spectacular which debuted on the Disney Wonder in 2016 would expand to the Disney Fantasy in the fall of 2019 replacing Disney Wishes. Disney Wishes originally launched with the Disney Fantasy in March of 2012.

Popular variety performers will take to the Disney Fantasy’s stage in place of Disney Wishes until the debut of Frozen, a Musical Spectacular.

The following is a copy of the email shared by Heather J from StorybookDestinations.com, and a direct email to a guest.

Frozen, A Musical Spectacular is scheduled to debut on October 26th, during the October 19, 2019 8-Night Eastern Caribbean Halloween on the Hight Seas Cruise from Port Canaveral. The production will be joined by Disney’s Believe, and the recently re-imagined version of Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular as the three primary productions in the Walt Disney Theatre.

Sad, was actually looking forward to seeing a new show. Seen Frozen twice already on the Wonder.

    Can’t please them all.

So excited about this! Have seen the shows on the Fantasy so many times. Cannot wait for Frozen. We are on the 10/18 sailing with the debut showing! 🙂

I’ve seen Frozen on the wonder also. But I am on the inaugural sailing of the show on the Fantasy 🙂
