Liarsville Gold Rush Trail Camp Trip Log Videos – Skagway, Alaska

During our 2017 Alaskan Cruise on the Disney Wonder, we spent the day 7 in Skagway. In the morning we booked the Liarsville Gold Rush Trail Camp & Salmon Bake Featuring Exclusive Disney Character Experience (SW36). During the port adventure, I recorded some video that I recently rediscovered in a folder on my desktop. I would suggest clicking over to our Day 7 Trip Log to view the videos in context, but they are presented below so you can easily click play, click the like button, and subscribe to our channel to help us take over the YouTube.

Wait, there are two more videos. When we returned to the ship, we met Black Widow and Spider-Man.

Thanks for watching. Nothing like posting video exactly one year and a day after it was recorded. This kind of turnaround is exactly why you should cast your vote for me as the Best Cruise Blogger in the 2018 British Cruise Awards. For more on our day in Skagway, please visit our Day 7 Trip Log.

Hmm. We did DCL Alaska last year too (a 7-dayer, a bit later in the summer) and I missed this “Excursion”.

My 16-year-old son did the “teen” Excursion, which I think was on Douglas Island. My wife and I took the buses into town and checked out the Alaska State Museum and the Juneau City Museum and then I saw the DIPAC Salmon Hatchery right across the street from place you went to. Fantastic.

I was definitely in the mood for some Juneau salmon, but the price was much better at The Salmon Spot downtown. Just a different way to see a few of the tourist spots of Juneau.
