Disney Magic Begins 2018 Dry Dock in Freeport

On Friday, the Disney Magic left Miami for a short trip to Freeport. The Magic entered the shipyard around 9 o’clock in the evening to begin her 14-nigh 2018 Dry Dock.

The Disney Magic will return to service in early March with enhancements to the adult area as well as Vibe. The biggest change happening during this refurbishment is the transition of Carioca’s into Rapunzel’s Royal Table. This new restaurant will be similar to Tiana’s Place with a unique dinner show experience.

During Disney’s Social Media Moms Celebration #DisneySMMC, a land and sea event Disney shared some additional details on Rapunzel’s Royal Table.

The Disney Magic will return to service on March 9th with a 5-night Bahamian Cruise from Miami. The Magic will spend March mid-May sailing a series of 5-night Western Caribbean, 4- and 5-night Bahamian cruises before repositioning to Europe for the summer. The 5-night Western Caribbean cruises will feature Marvel Day at Sea.
