Frozen Summer Fun Returns to the Classic Ships This Summer

The Disney Parks Blog announced the return of Frozen fun aboard the Disney Wonder and Disney Magic on select sailings in May, June, and July. Anna, Elsa, and other Frozen friends will be back for a winter-in-summer celebration featuring a deck party, storybook adventures ashore as part of exclusive Port Adventures, character meet and greats, and more such as Anna’s Chocolate Chase – a scavenger hunt around the ship and a Frozen inspired dinner menu.

The overall details provided in the Disney Parks Blog article such as actual saill dates, were limited as the article focused more on Frozen/DCL integration across the fleet and at Castaway Cay rather than specifics related to any specific sailings on the classic ships starting in May. However, it was revealed that previous experience will return including the icing over of the the atrium during one day of the cruise in conjunction with the Freezing the Night Away with Anna, Elsa and Friends deck party.

Commenters on the DPB have already asked about which sailings. Frankly, I do not know. I sent an email to get some clarification and will update this post if I hear anything. In the meantime, to get an approximate idea of which sailings may feature the Frozen activities, I took a look at the wording on DCL’s website for the Frozen Deck Party which at the time of publication showed info for 2016. However, I tried to apply the 2016 dates to 2017. Please note, the sailings listed below are just a best guess based on the 7-night or longer sailings more or less between the same date range as 2016. DISCLAIMER: THESE ARE NOT OFFICIAL DATES – THEY ARE JUST MY BEST GUESS. Book/plan accordingly until DCL updates their website with 2017 dates.

Disney Magic May-June-July 2017 Sailings 7-nights or longer

Disney Wonder May-June-July 2017 Sailings 7-nights or longer

I can confirm that the May 28 Northern European Sailing will have a Frozen night. Also, Frozen meet and greets are sold out online already. Is there anyway that there may be more when I get onboard??

Check the navigator when you check in to see if and where they are offering tickets. As far as I know, there are still tickets available once onboard. However, this could change at anytime.
