DCL Clarifies Canadian Port Discrepancy on 2017 Westbound Transatlantic

Since the release of the Fall 2017 sailings, there has been some confusion regarding the September 24, 2017 Canadian port of call as DCL’s website originally listed Saint John (New Brunswick), Canada. Disney Cruise Line is now taking steps to clear up the itinerary discrepancy with regard to the 2017 Westbound Transatlantic cruise on the Disney Magic.  Map Magic 11 Night Westbound Transatlantic 2017 Newfoundland

The itinerary is now shown correctly on DCL’s website. Additionally, guests are being alerted via email. Below is a copy of the email we recently received from a guest booked on this voyage stating the correct port of call is Saint John’s (Newfoundland), Canada.

Thank you for selecting a Disney Cruise Line vacation. We’re glad that you are sailing with us aboard the Disney Magic on September 16, 2017, for an 11-night sailing from Barcelona to New York.
It has come to our attention that the itinerary listed on our website for your cruise vacation inadvertently listed St. John (New Brunswick), Canada, as a port-of-call when the ship will actually be calling in St. John’s (Newfoundland), Canada. The cruise confirmation you received was correct and the information has been updated on our website. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
Again, thank you for sailing with us. We are looking forward to providing you with an excellent cruise experience.
Sincerely,
The Cast and Crew
Disney Cruise Line
We strive to keep an updated record on the itineraries, if you ever received notification of an itinerary change please consider sharing the information with us so we can help spread the word.

Just wanted to clarify… the city in New Brunswick is spelled Saint John and the city in Newfoundland and Labrador is spelled St. John’s.

They still need to clarify that the ship does not go to New York but to New Jersey.
That way cruisers can take the necessary per causions to not come back orange, with an accent or interesting hair.
