Condé Nast Traveler published the results of their 26th Annual Readers’ Choice Awards which ranks an array of all things travel from the best cities, islands, cruise lines, airlines, hotels, and resorts in the world. Disney Cruise Line was ranked by the magazine’s readers as the top large-ship cruise line with an overall rating of 90.3, edging out Celebrity Cruises (86.6), Royal Caribbean International (81.6) and Princess Cruises (81.1). Disney was one of 11 cruise lines to score above 90!
Disney Cruise Line was ranked higher in almost every category except one, food. Celebrity Cruises edged ahead of Disney in the food category by a narrow margin of 0.3 points.

A record-breaking 79,268 readers participated in the 2013 survey, close to double the respondents from the previous year. There were 1.3 million votes cast for more than 16,000 properties around the world. The annual reader’s choice survey asked respondents to rate each category on a five-point scale from excellent to poor. The percentage of excellent and very good ratings is used to determine the final score.
