Originally, it looked like Tropical Storm Leslie was going to keep to herself in the Atlantic after passing through Bermuda. However, today she is somewhat disorganized, and barely moving northward at 3 mph with maximum sustained winds of 65 mph. Recent model runs are tracking her towards the east coast of Canada by early next week. The [Disney_Magic] is currently sailing on her third to last Canada/New England Coast cruise for this year. She will be returning to New York City on Friday September 7, 2012 to begin the second to last New York Cruise.
The models show a possibility that Leslie will be arriving east of the New York, New England and Nova Scotia area between September 10th and 12th just as the Magic is returning to New York.
Today’s model runs show her tracking towards the east coast of Newfoundland.
Hopefully, at most, Leslie will just generate some rocky seas not affecting the Magic too much!
