This stateroom 5030 only handles 3 people. The shower ceiling is super low, if you are 5'10" or taller you can't shower without hitting your head. The deep balcony feels tiny having so much whitewall on either side. The kids from the Vibe run this hallway with heavy feet at all hours of the night, screaming and hitting the stateroom doors. Stay away from the room if you desire an enjoyable respite while in your stateroom. The furnishings are in good condition and mousekeeping was fantastic but we would never book here again, the noise and the whitewall balcony took away from the enjoyment of the room, and yes the people above you look down on you so unless you push yourself up against the door you really can't enjoy the view because of the ugly whitewall (which bangs loudly when it is windy)

We were booked GTY verandah and this was the room we were assigned. I was very surprised to find out that this particular category 4E which shows to sleep 4-5 on the Disney Cruise Line deck plan (category 4) actually only sleeps 3 guest. It has a queen size bed and sofa bed. I was hoping we would each have our own bed, but that was not the case. The bathroom has the regular tub, not the round tub. It has an over-sized balcony, but only half is private. Guest in balcony staterooms above are able to look down onto your balcony.
We did hear occasional noise from our neighbors in the connecting stateroom as well as the usual noise of the ship when she was docking at a port. The first night onboard I did hear some music coming from somewhere, perhaps the Walt Disney Theater which is just below us on deck 4, but never heard this again during the rest of the cruise.
The advantages of this location are ease of getting to the Walt Disney Theater, Buena Vista Theater and the younger kids clubs. We had a bit of a walk to the aft elevators to get to Cabanas each day.
All around not a bad room, just not what I would have personally picked for my family.
