Deck 10 on the Fantasy may not be for everyone, some rooms may experience more noise than others. However we loved our Port side Mid-Ship located stateroom. 10082 is a Category 4A, Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah (299 sq.ft).

Location:
Pros: Proximity to Deck 11. Thirty seconds or less from Donald's Pool. The convenience of the room location was a huge time saver with children, so easy to head down one flight of stairs to retrieve something from the stateroom. The overhang on from Deck 11 above the verandah did not impede our wonderful view. It did not rain, but the overhang would have provided shelter and I would rather have an overhang than a neighbor above.
Cons:
The distance from Decks 3 and 4 will likely require you wait for an elevator to go to dinner or the theater. However the mid-ship location made it a short walk to the Fore or Aft elevators which are often less busy.
Pirate night was the only time that noise from Deck 11 was a factor, but that's to be expected. Join the party to avoid being bothered.

Room:
The room is in great overall condition. Only two minor issues, there is a remote control receiver sensor that is attached to the top of the TV with double sided tape - this was loose causing this sensor to dangle in from of the TV (I am sure this has been fixed by now). Secondly, one of the close-lines in the tub was broken. Thankfully one was working to hang our swim suits to dry.
In addition to the Queen size bed, there are a set of bunks (convertible sofa with a bunk above), and a Murphy bed. My 13 yr old daughter slept in the upper bunk, she could not stretch out. On the other hand my 12 yr old daughter loved the Murphy bed, the mattress was very comfortable - much more so than the bunks.

I would gladly stay in this stateroom again, I would research reviews on rooms in other areas of Deck 10 to gauge potential noise from Deck 11 based on what is immediately above the stateroom.
