Like any on deck 10, this room has its ups and downs. It's a great location with easy midship access to the beverage station on Deck 11. Also, quick and easy access to the Rainforest Room at the Spa on Deck 11 front. The room was kept up well, and I noticed very few squeaks and rattles coming from anywhere. The Deck 11 overhang always helps in providing a little more shade from the sun and cover even from light rain showers. Like all things Deck 10, however, get ready for the constant running of feet and deck chair movement at all times of the night (yes, even at 4:00am). I made sure to bring ear plugs and a white noise machine this time which went a long way to a more peaceful sleep.

As a family of 4 we appreciated the extra space this room provided - having both the upper bunk and the murphy bed was a nice treat as it allowed us to "keep" the couch even after the room was set up for the night. The current hostess - Carol (as of Nov/Dec 2019) was amazing and so hard working - our best host in our 6 cruises so far.
The big downside, as noted from the 2015 review, is the noise.
You really can hear everyone running around on deck at all hours of the night. You also can hear a lot of the stuff on deck being moved around at 1 - 3 am as they clean. Do not plan on going to sleep on Pirate night until ~11:30 pm when the deck party ends for example as it is quite loud.
Overall the room itself is great but with the noise issues we definitely would not book it again and I would not recommend it.

Great stateroom if you have older kids who can sleep through late night noise. Also, as an adult, the first few nights were great, last couple nights the noise was loud from the people running on deck eleven and the dance party on pirate night. If you are a heavy sleeper, great location, we rarely used the elevator, make sure you don't plan on going to bed early.
