Our family of three(myself, wife, 11yo son) sailed on the Disney Wonder for seven nights to the Mexican Riviera starting on December 12, 2012 in Room 6022. We paid $2328.61, including tax through Costcotravel.com as Stateroom Category OGT and Stateroom Number GTY. We didn't know that this was our room until boarding day and we were thrilled with it.

We found that our two large and one small suitcases fit under the bed with ease. There was room for much more under there. We had room to spare to put clothes and other items. The Steamer Trunk was especially nice for larger items that we wanted quick access to.

Our son loved having the choice each night to sleep in either the Convertible Sofa or the Bunk Bed that pulled down from the ceiling. Our Room Steward made both of them each night, so he could choose at the last minute. Our Queen bed was more than large enough and extremely comfortable. The mild rocking that we felt (due to being a forward cabin, not from any weather issues) during the night only made our sleep more enjoyable. There was some slight creaking sound that was completely tolerable for all three of us and my wife is normally a very light sleeper.

A small number of times the noise of people talking/playing in the hallway and doors slamming was annoying, but it did not affect our overall enjoyment of the room at all. The room is just far enough away from the elevators and the stairways to avoid the noise, yet close enough to make it very convenient to get to all parts of the ship very quickly. There are only 16 rooms past ours towards the front, so foot traffic in the hallway was very light.

The bathrooms were very clean and didn't look their age. The shower walls and shower head looked a little outdated, but was more than adequate. We found there to be lots of room for my wife and my toiletries. The toilet stopped working once during the week and it was fixed in no time.

The view from the large porthole window was not blocked in the least and we all enjoyed looking out of it several minutes per day.

We enjoyed this room so much that we would be more than happy to return to it for any cruise on the Classic Disney ships. While we would like to try a Verandah room in the future, I don't think that we would ever feel cheated by sticking with an Ocean view room like this.
